Diamondbacks triumph over the Brewers with a 3-2 score, thanks to Alexander Perdomo's impressive homerun.

In an electrifying game on Tuesday, the Arizona Diamondbacks clinched a win against the Milwaukee Brewers, marking a significant moment in their four-game series.

The decisive sixth inning saw a series of exciting plays unfold. Geraldo Perdomo and Blaze Alexander hit back-to-back opposite-field shots to right, giving Arizona a 2-1 lead. Perdomo later added to the team's advantage in the eighth inning with a homer to right, making it 3-1.

Ryne Nelson, the Diamondbacks' pitcher, shone in the game, delivering a strong performance. He pitched six innings, allowing six hits, and striking out three without walking a batter. This outing secured his first victory since July 19.

The defensive efforts were noteworthy as well. In the ninth inning, Arizona left fielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. made an impressive outfield assist, throwing out Andruw Monasterio at second base.

The Milwaukee Brewers put up a fight, with homers from William Contreras off Juan Burgos in the eighth inning and Jose Quintana, who was later replaced by Nick Mears, on the mound for the Brewers. Quintana, with a 10-4 record and a 3.32 ERA, is scheduled to start against RHP Nabil Crismatt (1-0, 0.00) in the final game of the series on Wednesday.

Aaron Ashby opened the game for Milwaukee, and Erick Fedde, who signed a one-year contract earlier that day, was later brought in as the right-hander. Unfortunately, Fedde took the loss for Milwaukee in the sixth inning.

Notable for the Diamondbacks, center fielder Alek Thomas continues to excel against Milwaukee. He currently boasts a .400 batting average (16-for-40) in his last 12 games, with four doubles, a triple, a home run, and six RBIs.

In the end, Andrew Saalfrank closed the game for the Diamondbacks, getting the final five outs for his third save. The win brings the Diamondbacks one step closer to securing a series victory against the Brewers.
